Offers the Brand’s Devoted Fans its Iconic Raconteur Aviators, and Best-Selling Harness Sunglasses Now Enhanced with Titanium Frames, Handmade Acetate Temples, and Photochromic Lenses
Revo, the global leader in high-quality performance sunglasses, marks its 37th birthday and celebrates with the launch of two limited collector’s edition releases. The first limited-edition run ‘Twenty Twelve’ collection will feature one of Revo’s most popular frames, Raconteur, enhanced with new titanium construction and photochromic lenses that shift from light to dark automatically. The second style, Harness 24K, is based on the brand’s best-selling sport style now featuring 24 karat gold detailing and photochromic lenses for Revo collectors and adventure enthusiasts alike.
The Twenty Twelve collection and Harness 24K both launch today and will be exclusively sold on the Revo website. The Twenty Twelve Collection is a limited run of 500 pairs, and the Harness 24K is a limited run of 300 pairs, all individually engraved with serial numbers.
The best-selling Raconteur style was originally introduced to Revo customers back in 2012 where it immediately attained legendary status. Today, the same style is available, refreshed and enhanced for unmatched visual clarity and eye protection. The new collection introduces titanium construction with handmade acetate temples, to augment the beloved detailed eye rim of Raconteur.
For this limited run, the Twenty Twelve is available in two shapes:
- Twenty Twelve 1 is a thinner, lighter replica of Revo’s Raconteur style with a light-adaptive Evergreen Photochromic lens
- Twenty Twelve 2 presents Raconteur reimagined as a titanium navigator with a light-adaptive Blue Water Photochromic lens
Revo’s best-selling Harness is known for its modern, smooth, comfortable fit with a subtle wrap, protecting from glare at all angles. Now, with a reimagined twist, this pair of sunglasses will boast authentic 24K gold detailing along with the technologically advanced polarized photochromic lenses that shift subtly from light to dark in varying light conditions.
“Since Revo’s debut in 1985, the classic Raconteur aviator and Harness sunglasses have had great success and we are thrilled to share these limited-edition releases that encompass all of the best features of the originals, along with the visual clarity, protection and sleek style of these anniversary frames,” said CEO Cliff Robinson. “The Twenty Twelve collection and Harness 24K were created for those nostalgic Revo fans who fell in love with our sunglasses many years ago.”
The two new Twenty Twelve styles are available in a collector’s twin set gift box. The Twenty Twelve collection retails for $599 for the exclusive twin set. The Harness 24K retails for $349.
