Introducing Feel Good People’s Multisensory Vibrational Technology: The Feel Good Mat + App

According to the American Psychological Association’s 2022 “Stress in America” survey, stress levels in America are at an all-time high, with 64% of adults reporting that their stress levels have increased over the past year.

Recognizing this growing issue, Feel Good People is set to launch our latest innovation: The Feel Good Mat + App; a multi-sensory relaxation experience that is designed to help users achieve a state of deep relaxation and well-being through the use of physical vibrations and soothing binaural sounds.

The Feel Good Mat + App’s technology is based on the principles of physical and sound vibrational therapy, which has been shown to have a range of benefits for the body and mind, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, and promoting a sense of calm and relaxation.

How does it work?

At the right frequency, physical and sound vibration activate our parasympathetic nervous system, also known as, our rest and restore state. The vibration sends a memo to our brains that we’re not in any danger because we are being soothed, so naturally, our body and mind start to relax.’

The Mat

The Mat is the size and shape of a yoga mat. It feels soft and comfy, similar to a thin pillow or cushion, and it has a cover made from linen and cotton that can be removed and washed. Inside the mat are small vibration motors. The mat’s vibration feels similar to a humming sensation all over the body. Customers can pick specific regions to vibrate and change the intensity and frequency of the vibration. The mat is cord-free with an 8-hour battery life and easily rolls up with straps to hold it together.

The App

The Feel Good Mat is powered and operated by the Feel Good App on a phone (both Apple and Android supported). In the App, customers can choose a vibration mode for the mat. Feel Good People studied, tested, and thoughtfully chose three dynamic vibration modes with set rhythms, speeds, and intensities that increase energy levels (energize), mellow the body out (relax) or prepare the user for a night of deep sleep (sleep). Freestyle mode can also be chosen and set the vibration frequency and intensity best suited to each body and what feels good to each user.

The App also has sound experiences that align with the mat’s energize, chill out and deep sleep modes. The Mat vibrates to the frequency of the songs. Feel Good People chose binaural songs that specifically align with the frequency of the brain when users are in an energetic, calm or restful state; in this way the vibration and the sounds work together to enhance the experience and deepen relaxation.

Feel Good People believe that their technology is the perfect addition to any de-stressing routine, and they can’t wait to share it with the world. The Feel Good Mat + App officially goes on sale this Spring. To get on the early order list, be sure to reserve your mat.

“Feel Good People’s core mission is to bring awareness to the importance of relaxation and provide people with the tools and inspiration on how they can live a life that is less stressful and one that feels good. With stress levels in America at an all-time high, it is more important than ever to find effective ways to manage stress. The Feel Good Mat + App will give people a new way to experience the benefits of vibrational therapy in the comfort of their own home. It’s easily incorporated into any relaxation practice and you can be as connected or disconnected as you want from the outside world and still receive its benefits. It’s relaxation that works for the modern world.” said Kristan Fiandach, Founder of Feel Good People.
